Volunteer.
Community.
Longhorn.

Three words that have run this club since the very first season. Everything we do — every practice, every game, every season — comes back to those three.

01 / Mission

More than
a football
club.

For decades, North Delta Longhorns has been where local kids learn the game, learn each other, and learn themselves. We're a volunteer-run community club, which means every coach, every executive, every line judge is here because they care about the next generation of players and cheerleaders coming up in Delta.

What sets us apart isn't the trophies. It's the parents who show up at 6am to chalk the field, the alumni who come back to coach their old division, and the relationships that outlast every season. The Longhorns aren't just a team. They're a chapter of your kid's life.

We're a registered non-profit operating under the North Delta Minor Football Association. Every dollar that comes in — registrations, sponsorships, the bottle drive, the year-end raffle — goes directly back into the program. Helmets, jerseys, field rental, league fees, coach training, equipment, and the year-end banquet. Nobody at the Longhorns gets paid a dollar. It's all volunteer, all the way down.

Whether your child is picking up a football for the first time or working toward high school varsity, there's a division and a community here for them. We'd love to have you.

The people
making seasons happen.

Twelve volunteers running a club that serves hundreds of Delta families every year. None of them get paid. All of them have day jobs. This is who they are.

03 / Values

On the field.
Off the field.

Four things we expect from every player, every coach, every parent, and every volunteer. They don't change, season to season.

V.01

Respect

For teammates, opponents, coaches, officials, and the game itself. Trash talk and bad sportsmanship don't have a place on a Longhorns sideline.

V.02

Team

Football is the most collaborative sport on the field. We win as eleven, we lose as eleven, and we lift each other up before, during, and after every play.

V.03

Work

Show up to every practice. Run every drill. Lift every teammate. The kids who become great players are the ones who do the unsexy work, every single day.

V.04

Community

The Longhorns are a family. Players who put on the jersey carry it for life, and so do the parents, coaches, and sponsors who make every season possible.
